Arame – Artist of the Month – February 2012

Aram Yeghiazaryan was born on October 10, 1982 in Armavir city. His father, Marat Yeghiazaryan, has worked for the Ministry of Domestic Affairs and is a captain by ranking and his mother Ruzanna Karapetyan is a tailor. Aram’s brother Koryun is two years older than him and his sister Ani is four years younger than Aram.

Aram has studied in the middle school of Kasakh. When he was ten years old, he and his family moved to Doni Rostov where at the age of fifteen Aram got accepted to the “Arevik” children’s choir. During those years the future singer also occupied himself with sports and other fields of art. He has also been a member of painting and sculpture clubs. When Aram was in the ninth grade, he finally decided to get accepted to the humanitarian school of Doni Rostov.

The singer began his career in 2004 after placing first in the first round of the “Song of the Year of Armenia” contest. That same year Aram decided to return to Armenia and continue his singing career.

Hayko – Ga u Gna (Come & Go) Video Premiere

Armenian singer, songwriter, musician and producer Hayko is to us who exemplifies the true meaning of an artist! His works are always driven with passion and with deep meaning. Hayko has produced countless of hits for other Armenian artists and other nationalities as well. He truly brings out the best in everyone!

In 2007, Armenia was represented by Hayko, with his beautiful ballad ‘Anytime You Need’. He reached 8th position in the finals and was regarded as one of the most talented performers on stage that night. Without the politics of Eurovision, we believe Hayko could have brought the top prize to Armenia.

Today, Hayko is busy producing hits for his own production company Hayko Music. His fans anxiously await his new album which is in the works.

Hayko released a new single titled ‘Ga u Gna’ (Come and Go) and true to his form, he did it with style and great taste. ‘Ga u Gna’ lyrics is by Vardan Zadoyan, music by Hayko. The video was director by Lusine Martirosyan, director of photography by Suren Tadevosyan, film artist, Lida Gevorgyan and edited by Ashot Mkrtchyan.

Ararat Amadyan – ‘Du Es Du Es’ Video Premiere

Armenian Artists Welcome a New Generation

Family life is a huge part of being Armenian, it’s no different to Armenian celebrities. The year 2011 proved to be the year where Armenian celebrities settled down and expanded their own family. Three Armenian couples which includes 4 celebrities welcomed their offspring at the end of 2011 and the start of 2012. Armenian producer and singer Hayko along with his lovely wife, singer Anahit Simonyan, dancer and hip hop artist Mihran Kirakosyan along with his wife, Diana and most recently beloved Armenian singer Armenchik and his wife Lusine all welcomed their little ones. Mihran Kirakosyan welcomed two beautiful twin girls!

Directed by Hrach Qeshishyan, the video portrays Arame as we never seen him before, providing for the light of his life. We found the video to be cute and playful and we congratulate Arame and the cast and crew for an exceptional job.
