Khachik Karadanyan was born on October 21, 1983 in Yerevan, Armenia. Khachik comes from a musical family with his parents both being singers. His passion and commitment in music started at a very young age. At age seven, he got accepted in to Eduard Mirzoyan school of Music where he studied the violin. On year later, Khachik and his family migrated to the United States and he started taking piano lessons with professional pianist Armen Abrahamyan. He has won a number of awards and has participated in many concerts playing Armenian and foreign composers compositions such as Babajanyan, Beethoven, and Mozart. Within the years, Khachik also started to sing and realized new developments in his musical abilities. With the great love and support from his family, he took his vocal skills to a higher level by taking private lessons with Professional singers Anahit Nersisyan and Margarit Shahinyan. In 2004, Khachik got accepted in to the music industry program at California State University, Northridge. At the university, he took vocal lessons with instructor Linda Stones. Khachik graduated in May 2008, and received his Bachelors Degree with honors as an outstanding student.
