Bei Ru

Bei Ru is a DJ/Producer from Los Angeles, CA.

Born to Armenian parents who immigrated to the U.S. from Lebanon, Bei started DJ’ing at various clubs in the Los Angeles area and eventually moved into music production & composition.

In 2008, Bei Ru was featured in The Source Magazine for “Beirut Gangster”, his highly praised remix version of Jay-Z’s “American Gangster” album.

Bei Ru’s newest project – ‘Little Armenia (L.A.)’ – fuses vintage Armenian melodies from the 1960s & 70s with hip-hop, funk, rock & soul. Released on his own Musa Ler Music label, it was recently featured as a full-page piece in LA Weekly and the Armenian publication, Asbarez.
