The Armenian Star of Beirut Lebanon, Ararad Aharonian, was born on November 18, 1973 and raised in Beirut Lebanon.

On March 5, 1992, Ararad Aharonian performed for the first time in Lebanon at “Levon & Sophia Hagopian” college. After his first concert, his dream became true and his career boosted. Shant Disschekenian & his band (on percussions & derbakkeh: Paul Apanian, & Bouzoukist Toros Nakhashian) accompany Ararad at his concerts.

Ararad currently has four music albums representing many styles (Armenian pop, dance, “kavaragan”, Arabic style…). His first Album is called “Hokvous Denche” & his first single is “Siro Jampan” (Lyrics & Music by Seto Baghdassarian.) Shant Disschekenian performs the role of music arranger in Ararad’s albums.

Ararad’s latest release contains 8 fast and 2 slow songs. Great for parties with a Western Armenian flair. Ararad’s style is great for circle dances aka: “shourch bars” accompanied with bouzuki, Zurna and other traditional and modern instruments.

Ararad Aharonian has performed outside Lebanon in concerts in the following countries: Argentine, Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Kuwait, Syria, United Arab Emirates, United States and Venezuela.
