Post Rating

Another year of the highly anticipated and truly infamous Eurovision song contest has just wrapped up. While there was many controversies surrounding this years contest, the final production presented Europe with a breathtaking show live from the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway. Armenia’s Eva Rivas placed 7th in this years contest, with a total of 141 points, while Germany’s Lena took home the ultimate prize at 1st place with a total of 246 points. Turkey and Romania followed with a respected 2nd and 3rd place. Armenia has been represented in the Eurovision song contest a total of 5 times since 2006 and has placed in the top ten 4 times. André’s “Without Your Love” placed 8th in 2006,  while sister duo Inga and Anush Arshakyans placed 10th with their song, “Jan Jan,” in 2007. Sirusho’s 2008 performance of “Qélé Qélé” came in at an impressive 4th place. We congratulate Eva Rivas and Armenia for a job well done and hope to see an awesome artist in next years Eurovision, We are still hoping Armenian-American sensation Mihran Kirakosian will be a part of it as we still believe he has a very good chance at bringing the ultimate prize home.
