Whatever the “word” may be, it’s by far the easiest and the quickest form to spread it. There are millions of sites online craving the attention of nearly 2 billion internet users, That’s 26.6% of the world population surfing the net and there is no sign of it slowing down. In a virtual world, where every hit counts, and driving traffic to your website is essential to a sites success, Site owners depend on word of mouth and viral link spreading. On April 5th, Armenian Pulse sat down with celebrity socialite Kim Kardashian for an in debt interview talking strictly about her Armenian heritage. Although Kim Kardashian had mentioned she was half Armenian in the past, no other interview ever went beyond it. This first ever interview created an online frenzy that was fresh to the Armenian scene. More than 50 news organizations and celebrity gossip websites, including The Insider, The Examiner and Splash News ran the interview. Search results for the name Armenian Pulse went through the roof and suddenly they were hit with hundreds of emails and blog comments. Harout Kalandjian say’s they were “very happy with the results” and will continue to bring high standard, relevant content to Armenian Pulse and its readers. “By bringing in high profile celebrities and getting the attention, you start to slowly showcase the up and comers and that has always been our goal”!
